Texas MATTRESS MAKERS is not your typical retail store. Located in the heart of the downtown business district in Houston, Texas, TMM is a well established mattress manufacturer. We are a small family owned business founded in 1989 and our mattresses are now distributed widely throughout the Southwest region of the United States. Our mission, to produce high quality mattresses at a reasonable price, has sustained our business and helped it grow throughout the years.

After over 20 years of manufacturing experience, we have become uneasy about the many changes that have occured in the mattress industry: 

1.  Retailers exclusively market the price, not the quality of the mattress. 
2.  Sales people of national stores possess little or no knowledge of the product they are selling.
3.  Brand name manufactures invest resources into building the brand, not the quality of their mattresses.
4.  Customers who spend thousands of dollars on their mattress are seeing little improvement in their quality of sleep. The comfort which consumers purchase is no longer in the mattress, but on the mattress – the brand name.

In April of 2012, the leadership of TMM made a major decision in hopes of challenging the predatory nature of the mattress industry.  We opened the doors of our factory to the public. 
 

TMM is a store made to benefit all mattress shoppers!   In our showroom:

1.  You will be fitted to a mattress specifically for you.
2.  You will see the facility in which our mattresses are made. We manufacture all of our mattresses in our Houston factory and use only high quality components made in the USA.
3.  Our knowledgeable staff will educate you about each mattress. This includes the construction, the feel, and why or why it does not work for you.
4.  You will get the best quality and pay a margin of the price that you would pay at any retail store.
