The first question we get when we tell people we can make a custom mattress for their needs is “How much will it cost?” The answer is, customization costs nothing!
Let us explain. The only cost difference you will pay for a mattress comes down to the materials needed to achieve the best night’s sleep for you and your unique body type and sleep style. Whether you need Quadcoil vs Quantum coils, or memory foam vs. latex, might mean a cost difference because of the different price for the specific material. But, keep in mind—that cost difference is the same you would pay at any retail store. Certain materials just cost more, regardless of where you purchase those materials.
What doesn’t cost you anything is the customization of those materials. Meaning, the act of reaching to the left to grab one coil or the right to grab another coil makes no difference to us in cost—which in turn makes no difference to YOU in cost. You do not get charged anything additional simply because the process is different with a customized mattress. This is because, by manufacturing our own product, we do not have additional costs to pay to a manufacturer as retail stores do. This results in significant cost-savings on our side, which we are then able to pass on to you.
Why Buy a Custom Mattress?
Now that we’ve explained that you won’t get charged more for a custom mattress, let us explain what you WILL get. Customization simply gives you the opportunity to have the exact mattress to best fit what you need—even if what you need is different than what your partner needs (which it often is). One of the reasons “1 in 4 married couples sleep in different beds” (BetterSleep.org) is because they have different body styles or sleep positions and are not comfortable on the same mattress. Customization would prevent the need for separate rooms.
Here are additional ways we might create something unique for your needs. Mattresses can be customized for:
- Your body type, sleep habits, and favorite position
- Any health concerns you face, including back pain, acid reflux, and many more
- Any mattress size or shape
- Antique beds, boats, loft spaces, bunk beds, double-sided mattresses, and more
