What do we mean when we say the phrase “factory direct?” At a typical mattress store, mattresses are produced by a separate manufacturer, shipped, stored, and then sold to the consumer. Who winds up paying for those shipping and storage fees? The customer. You. 

At Texas Mattress Makers, you only pay for the components used to make your mattress and the delivery fee (if you choose to have your mattress delivered). 

After you place your order, we make your mattress at our very own, onsite Downtown Houston Factory and then deliver it directly to your house, hence the term “factory direct.” And, when we deliver, we offer to set up the new mattress and take your old one to be recycled as part of the low delivery fee. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile to make sure you get the best mattress stress-free for less money.

All of our mattresses are handmade by Texans in our East Downtown factory in Houston, TX with quality materials sourced only from the USA. 4. Our Comfort Guarantee

At Texas Mattress Makers, we understand that newly produced mattresses can take a few weeks to break in to become as comfortable for you as possible. However, it should not take more than 60 days for your mattress to feel the way you want it to. That’s why most of our mattresses have what is called a 90-day comfort guarantee*. This guarantee allows our customers to call our showroom within the first 90 nights after purchasing their mattress to discuss problems and find solutions. Our warranties range from 1-10 years and vary by model. 

*Offer valid for 90 nights from the delivery date. All refunds are subject to an 18% restocking fee.

Factory warranty

We carry our own factory warranty that covers the following:

• Threading coming undone
• Walls collapsing
• Visible dips in the mattress of more than two inches
  • Visible dips and sinking-related issues with your mattress caused by a defective box spring or bed frame that was supplied by another manufacturer are not covered in the warranty. For more information on how to choose a box spring, visit our website.

Please note that this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the mattress, a change in comfort presence, or mattresses with stains or damage due to liquids.
